President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili reacts to the resignation of the chief instructor of the tactical training service of the MIA Academy, calling him the first swallow and saying that this fact is "a sure sign of the collapse of the repressive apparatus". "The first swallow appeared from the Ministry of Internal Affairs! This is an unmistakable sign of the collapse of the repressive apparatus! The state is you who, in all agencies and in whatever position you are, put your homeland above your personal career interest!", the president wrote.

For information, as Giorgi Gabekhadze, the chief instructor of the tactical training service of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, writes on "Facebook", he resigned from his position.

"Today, on December 2, 2024, I made one of the most difficult decisions, however, dictated by my mind and inner conviction, I applied to the rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia with Patak, to leave the position of the chief instructor of the tactical training service of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and to be dismissed from the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs." - wrote Gabekhadze.
