PM: Although radical opposition and rich NGO leaders hide in offices, they cannot escape responsibility for the severe and systematic violence we have seen these days

Despite the fact that the leaders of the radical opposition, as well as the rich NGO leaders, are hiding in their offices, they cannot escape responsibility for the severe, brutal and systematic violence that we have seen in Rustaveli these days, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at a press conference.

According to him, there were specific video footages showing "very gross violence against policemen" that were circulated yesterday.

"People who previously expressed severe reactions to the incidents recorded on the other side, in this case approved and often expressed their attitude towards this severe aggression with agitated comments. All this shows that, in fact, the non-acceptance of violence is just hypocrisy for them, and it is the usual double standard. Once again, I would like to emphasize that the opposition cannot escape responsibility. Despite the fact that the leaders of the radical opposition, as well as the rich NGO leaders, are hiding in their offices, they cannot escape responsibility for the heavy, brutal and systematic violence that we have seen in Rustaveli during these days," said Kobakhidze.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the events in the schools and noted that "this is a completely immoral act."

"I want to once again touch on the politicization of schools, this is a completely immoral act, which once again shows the face of liberal fascism in general and the face of liberal fascism in our country," said Kobakhidze.
