Levan Ioseliani: Today I visited 34 people arrested during the protests in isolation cells, among them I saw Beqa Korshia, he has no injuries

According to the public defender, Levan Ioseliani, today he visited 34 people arrested during the protests in the isolation cells, including Beqa Korshia, who, according to his information, has no injuries.

In addition, as Ioselian told the journalists, some of the detainees still talk about the excess of authority on the part of the police and the loss of personal belongings.

"I visited Tbilisi and Gurjaani together with about 34 people. Unfortunately, some of these people point to physical injuries, police overstepping their authority, and some of them have bruises on their faces.

Too many detainees report the loss of personal belongings, especially their phones, which were confiscated during detention. Employees of the Special Investigation Service are interrogating these people. Far from them, I saw Beqa Korshia as well, there are no injuries", said Ioselian.

Ioseliani calls on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to pay attention to the facts of confiscation of personal belongings, especially phones.

"I would like to call on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to pay attention to the confiscation of personal belongings, especially telephones, and all personal belongings that were confiscated from protestors must be returned," said Ioselian.
