"This is nothing but terrorism against one's own people. Today, in fact, law enforcement structures have become lawbreakers. Civil society of Georgia, journalists, who became victims of such an attack yesterday, stand on the guard of justice, democracy, freedom, European idea and constitution. Such attacks are characteristic of authoritarian regimes. We see how such regimes do, Yanukovych did it, Assad did it, and Bidzina Ivanishvili will do it. Any government that goes against the will of its own people will end up tragically like this. I call on everyone, civil society, journalists to show solidarity and stand together. The days of this regime are numbered. Recently, they assured each other that Donald Trump would be their savior, that relations would be reset and they would continue relations in a new way, such a thing cannot and will not happen because the USA will not deal with any government that treats its own society and people like this. He will support him, he cannot be his friend. New elections should be called. This is the best political solution and the criminals should be punished", said Tsutskiridze.
