Irakli Kobakhidze: We will adopt a law that will prohibit the participants of the meeting from covering their faces by various means, the law will be fully implemented by the end of the month

We will adopt a law that will prohibit face covering by various means by the participants of the gathering, including the participants of the counter-meeting, - said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, at the press conference held today.

As the head of government noted, this is a very important law that will help prevent violence during gatherings.

"Such laws are in force in many member states of the European Union, and it is important to adopt such a law in our country for the prevention of violence. Technically, we will be able to organize everything in such a way that by the end of next week the corresponding law will be passed, so that this law will be fully implemented by the end of the month", said Irakli Kobakhidze.
