Everyone understood very well that, in fact, the government did not stop any European integration. On the contrary, we are focused as much as possible on fulfilling the relevant obligations, - the Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, said at the government meeting. According to him, the participants of the rally have nothing to demand.
"Once again, we can repeat that in 4 years, by 2028, we will have fulfilled more than 90% of our obligations based on the association agenda and the free trade agreement. This means that the European integration process will continue as intensively as possible, and this was well understood by the public, including, I am sure, the relevant participants of the protest. Therefore, the relevant demand from their side cannot be placed on the agenda anymore, based on the fact that there is nothing to actually demand. The second potential demand that they may have in mind is the demand for early elections, however, they dare not make this demand publicly for one simple reason - once they make this demand, it is immediately clear that they have a party agenda from start to finish. It is still not popular in Georgia to belong to any of these four parties.
Everyone knows that this is one collective party, "Collective National Movement", which consists of 4 parties: Saakashvili's, Gvaramia's, Khazaradze's and Gakharia's parties. No one wants to associate him with any of these parties. Therefore, they cannot put the demand for extraordinary elections on the agenda. Therefore, there are still empty rallies. This is the main reason why, in the end, these people find it difficult to find any serious resources. One of their leaders said that they should reach before January 20, there is talk of a change of government. January 20 You scare these people a lot. However, I want to promise them that they will soon end their attempts to bring any disturbance to our country. The entire radical opposition is afraid of January 20. On the contrary, we are optimistic," said Kobakhidze.
