"One year ago, Georgia received candidate status, and today, a 'Parliament' similar to the Central Election Commission is 'electing' the 'only' candidate, which is an insult to democracy. This will never stop Georgia’s European path and democratic future!" – writes the President of Georgia.

In addition, the President writes that the Christmas tree in Tbilisi is being protected by the police and is "under arrest."
