Irakli Kobakhidze: The presidential election took place against the backdrop of a 500-person protest. The protesters walked wearing the national football team's shirts and once again proved that statelessness is their signature

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated during today’s briefing: "The presidential election took place against the backdrop of a 500-person protest. You saw a new ritual at this protest – the participants walked on the shirts of the Georgian national football team, which feature our national symbols. By doing so, these individuals once again proved that statelessness is their signature. Yesterday, these same people proved that godlessness is also their signature, and this represents the face of liberal fascism. There are people who have been drawn into liberal fascism, and this is a tragic event.

These people are the ones we must save our country from, and we will do everything we can to protect more people from liberal fascism in our country. This is the responsibility of the government.

The radical opposition first lost the elections, then lost the streets. You know there are four parties that enjoy considerable external support, along with more than ten of the richest NGOs. Together, these four parties and over ten wealthy NGOs couldn’t even gather 2000 people for protests in recent days," said the Prime Minister.
