MEP Rihards Kols: The 'Georgian Dream' regime has handed the presidency over to a former football player, Mikheil Kavelashvili—an anti-Western figure specifically chosen to mock the Georgian people
"The Georgian Dream regime has “passed” the presidency to an ex-footballer, Mikheil Kavelashvili—an anti-Western figure handpicked to mock the Georgian people and cement Georgia in Russia’s orbit," MEP Rihards Kols wrote on his X account.
"The only legitimate president is Salome Zurabishvili," he added.
