Salome Zurabishvili: I underlined the only peaceful way out of the crisis was political, through new elections!

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said in a telephone conversation with European Council President António Costa that the only peaceful way out of the crisis is through new elections.

As Zurabishvili wrote on the social network X, President Costa confirmed that the European Union will continue to support the Georgian people and their European future.

“Talked tonight with European Council President António Costa about latest developments in Georgia. I underlined the only peaceful way out of the crisis was political, through new elections! I was assured that the EU will continue to support the Georgian people and their European future”, she tweeted.
