As Kobakhidze noted, he hopes that the positions of specific politicians in the EU will change.

Of course, this is also an extremely unfriendly, anti-Georgian step. I hope that in the end, the positions of specific politicians and bureaucrats in the EU will change. As for the decisions of Estonia and Lithuania, this was a simple provocation carried out by the hands of the two Baltic countries, which is very sad. You know that the Georgian people have a special attitude towards both the Lithuanian and Estonian people. Against this background, it is especially sad that such provocations are being organized by the hands of the authorities of these two countries. We do not follow provocations and will have a pragmatic reaction to any such decision. But it should be noted that all this is sad. It is unacceptable that these two states act not in accordance with the interests of their own people, but on external orders,” said Irakli Kobakhidze.
