Irakli Kobakhidze: The decision relation to diplomatic passports has a symbolic meaning, however, for us it is not just a symbolic step, it is an openly anti-Georgian decision

Representatives of foreign media also explained that this step has an essentially symbolic meaning, however, for us it is not just a symbolic step, it is an openly anti-Georgian decision, - this is how Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze responded to journalists' questions regarding the imposition of restrictions on visa-free travel by the European Union for holders of diplomatic passports.

The head of government expressed hope that from next year such anti-Georgian decisions will not be made by European institutions.

"Representatives of foreign media also explained that this step has an essentially symbolic meaning, however, for us it is not just a symbolic step, it is an openly anti-Georgian decision, which is very sad. We hope that from next year no such anti-Georgian decisions will be made by European institutions," - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
