The President-elect of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, often speaks about the so-called “deep state”, which, according to him, has a significant impact on the governance in the United States. For example, Mr. Donald Trump made a very serious statement regarding the so-called “deep state” a month before the terrorist attack on him, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated.

As he explained, the unjust decisions of the incumbent US administration are precisely the result of the “deep state”. Kobakhidze wished Trump success in the fight against informal influences and the “deep state”.

“He [Trump] said something like this - either the “deep state” will destroy the USA or the USA will destroy the “deep state”. You see, for all these 4 years, it was the “deep state” that has been destroying the USA, and the result of this is the unjust decisions that we hear so often from the US structures.

The USA needs de-oligarchization, which we have talked about many times, and in this we fully agree with President Trump - he also believes that the USA needs to be freed from informal influences.

President Trump promised that he would defeat the “deep state” and free the USA from informal influences. We have great hope that Mr. Donald Trump will be able to do this, and all this will be shown on the example of Georgia – we will see whether he will be able to defeat the “deep state”, informal influences. I would like to wish President Trump success in this very important matter," Irakli Kobakhidze noted.
