With this, Saakashvili responded to the visit of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, to Georgia and his press conference today.
"The last time the Secretary General of the Council of Europe came to Georgia in 2004 to save Aslan Abashidze. For the then Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Walter Schumer, it turned out to be a very inappropriate and unsuccessful visit.
"In general, the secretaries general of the Council of Europe are characterized by being bribed by dictators; one of them received a plot of land in Moscow for free," Saakashvili wrote.
