Any new government in Georgia must be established through free and fair elections, writes the Chairman of the Helsinki Commission, Republican Congressman Joe Wilson, on social media.

According to him, after reviewing the OSCE/ODIHR report, he reiterates that "Georgian Dream" is illegitimate. "After reviewing the OSCE/ODIHR report on elections in Georgia, I repeat what I have said before: the de facto government of 'Georgian Dream' is not legitimate. President Salome Zurabishvili is the only legitimate authority. Any new government must be formed through free and fair elections," writes the Republican congressman on X (formerly Twitter).
