Ana Natsvlishvili: By stating that sanctioned individuals will be compensated from the state budget, Kobakhidze confirmed that members of the violent government suffered significant financial losses due to their stolen assets being hidden abroad

"Kobakhidze openly admitted that members of his illegitimate, violent government suffered significant financial losses due to imposed sanctions. These individuals had hidden their illegally obtained assets in the jurisdictions where sanctions have now been imposed," said Ana Natsvlishvili, one of the leaders of Strong Georgia.

She was responding to questions regarding compensations from the state budget for high-ranking officials financially impacted by the sanctions.

Natsvlishvili emphasized that the only solution to the ongoing crisis is new elections. "New elections are inevitable in this country, conducted under entirely different standards than what the world witnessed on October 26. The crisis we are facing is not what *Georgian Dream* wants to admit, but it is a massive, nationwide protest born from the heart of the country. There is no solution other than new elections.

Georgian citizens do not deserve to be ruled by violent individuals with criminal mentalities and actions—people who democratic states have deemed so undesirable and dangerous that they’ve said, ‘We don’t even want you visiting our countries.’ Should tens of thousands of people have their lives dictated by such individuals, determining the nation’s future? No matter how many maneuvers Kobakhidze attempts—who is essentially just a mouthpiece—this cannot prevent the internal collapse of the system.

Regarding compensating sanctioned individuals or awarding them honors: we are talking about people living off the state budget, receiving salaries from it. We all know their official salaries are not sufficient to amass wealth that allows them to run businesses in leading economies like the UK and the U.S. How did they achieve this on a government salary? It’s impossible.

Kobakhidze inadvertently confirmed this, openly stating that his illegitimate, violent government members suffered financial losses due to sanctions. They had significant stolen, illegal assets hidden in the jurisdictions where sanctions were imposed. How did budget-funded individuals, legally barred from earning additional income, accumulate such wealth? By exploiting the Georgian people!"

Natsvlishvili also commented on the OSCE/ODIHR’s report regarding the October 26 elections, stating it provides further grounds to call for new elections. "*Georgian Dream* has gradually captured all state institutions, which is why we face this large-scale crisis today. None of the state structures are functioning anymore. The only legitimate figure left is Salome Zourabichvili, who lacks executive powers. Such a crisis can only be resolved through new, fair elections.

As for the OSCE/ODIHR report, nobody recognizes Kobakhidze or Papuashvili. Everyone is well aware that this country is controlled by a Russian oligarch. Does anyone take Papuashvili seriously? Has anyone called him, met with him, or sought his opinion? Why should we care about the ‘message box’ he received in his chat regarding the OSCE/ODIHR report?

Many of us, including the majority of protesters, are fluent in relevant languages. They’ve read the report directly and don’t need Papuashvili’s interpretation," Natsvlishvili concluded.
