Businessman Irakli Iashvili: I understand the demands, but I do not agree with the request to devalue the lari. I do not support the petition

Businessman Irakli Iashvili stated, "I was invited and I came. This country has been living under this regime for 30 years, and we have been part of it. Now, I want to understand what awaits us in the future, how we will continue living, and how we will manage the economy. Do you think it's right that there is an attack on the exchange rate of the lari? This country, this economy, and the lari have been built up piece by piece over 30 years. Are we supposed to devalue the lari? I understand the demands, but I do not agree with the demand to devalue the lari.

I don’t know politics; a businessman and a politician should focus on their own work, as long as I am satisfied. I do not support the petition," Iashvili said.
