Trump’s main promise was to end the war and defeat the “deep state.” We were being ridiculed for the “global war party”, but some people know better than me what is happening, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream, Leader of the Parliamentary Majority.
As Mdinaradze noted, the radical opposition turned the “deep state” and the “global war party” into a joke, while Elon Musk, Robert Kennedy Jr. and many representatives of the Trump administration talked about it.
"They called Democrats, various forces a 'war party'. We added the word 'global' so that everyone would understand that we were talking about forces outside the country, because we called the local war party and correctly called it the National Movement and the corresponding cluster," said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
According to Mdinaradze, if Donald Trump manages to defeat the 'deep state', this will also affect Georgia, since pressure in this direction will weaken.
According to him, if Trump fails to defeat informal influences, Georgia is ready for that too.
"We hope that Trump will manage to fulfill his promise and will defeat the "deep sate", which means informal influences in the American bureaucracy. Accordingly, these influences belong to someone - some name Clinton, others the military industry - let's not talk about it, we are careful not to cross red lines. If the influences of the authors of these influences weaken, then the pressure on Georgia in this direction will also weaken. The so-called Georgian opposition are their agents and tools of the ones we were fighting - the great powers. Today, we can already boldly say that we are not alone in this battle. At least, some influences of this war party, global forces in the "deep state", which have influence on the American people, in the bureaucracy, must be weakened. If these promises are fulfilled, naturally, we will be much better, because the pressure will be removed. If it is eliminated altogether, there will be no pressure in this direction at all.
But if this does not happen and we are faced with the sad reality, it will not be easy, of course, but we will continue. We will stand firm, in this case too, we will have to fight more, endure more, endure more turbulence, but we will still stand firm,” said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
