Protests resume near Parliament - Rustaveli Avenue blocked

Protesters have blocked the road in front of the Parliament.

On the 29th day of the continuous protest, demonstrators marched to the legislative body from various locations in Tbilisi.

The protesters have brought banners with various contents to the Parliament.

The main demands of the demonstrators are unchanged - they demand the release of those detained during the protests and the appointment of new elections. "Freedom to the regime's prisoners"; "No to the Russian regime" - they are chanting.

For information, the citizens' protest followed the November 28 statement by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to which Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028.
