The position of political forces within the country, as well as the entire Western world, is that the visit of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is not appropriate at this time, unless it serves only one purpose - the scheduling of new elections, - Sergo Chikhladze, Foreign Secretary of Strategy Builder, thus responded to information regarding the visit of the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma, to Georgia.

According to him, the mentioned visit will be used for propaganda purposes, as if anyone in the West “recognizes the regime of Ivanishvili and Georgian Dream.

“Any such visit by the Ivanishvili regime and Russian propaganda will be used for their propaganda purposes, as if anyone in the West recognizes the regime of Ivanishvili and Georgian Dream, as if anyone recognizes the elections, etc. However, this is not and cannot be the case, because there is an OSCE/ODIHR report that says that the elections were massively rigged and the only solution is to schedule new elections and immediately release more than 50 detainees. We see the position of high-ranking diplomats and politicians of the EU countries that the visit of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is not appropriate at this moment, unless it serves only one purpose - to schedule new elections,” said Sergo Chikhladze.

MEP Rihards KOLS reported yesterday that the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma, is planning a visit to Georgia with a delegation on January 8-10.
