"The line of struggle lies on our identity, freedom, and peace!"

“Dear fellow citizens, We congratulate you on the glorious holiday of Christmas—a day of great joy and happiness for every Orthodox Christian. Today, a miracle happens in each of our hearts as our Savior, Jesus Christ, is born!

This day is always met with special anticipation, as a festive atmosphere fills every home. Along with everything else, the glorious celebration of Christmas symbolizes renewal and the birth of new life.

Throughout Georgia’s centuries-long history, we have often witnessed that, even in the most difficult and seemingly hopeless situations, through our perseverance, unity, and loyalty to traditions, faith, and our homeland, a brighter future has dawned for our country.

Recent events, marked by active and coordinated attacks against our country’s identity, faith, traditions, and peaceful development, have shown us that today, we are facing one of the most significant challenges in our nation’s modern history. The line of struggle lies on our identity, freedom, and peace!

Christmas signifies the birth of something new, and we firmly believe that before our eyes, a new, independent, sovereign, confident, and dignified Georgia is being born—a Georgia that bows to no one because it is the homeland of a free and proud people!

We firmly believe that with love for our homeland and for each other, the new Georgia will prevail!

May the Lord protect us all!

Merry Christmas to you all!” reads the congratulatory message.
