Irakli Kobakhidze: Certain forces are trying to sow hatred, and we must counter this with love – this was also mentioned in the Patriarch's epistle

In the Patriarch's epistle, the emphasis was placed first and foremost on the importance of faith, love for God, and love for one's neighbor, which is very important because if there is anything lacking in society today, it is perhaps love, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists after the Christmas liturgy at the Trinity Cathedral.

According to the head of the government, certain forces are artificially trying to sow hatred in the country instead of love.

"We must counter this with love, and essentially, this was the focus of the Patriarch's epistle as well. Every epistle of the Patriarch, of course, is dedicated first and foremost to the reality in which our country lives. It has always been this way, and naturally, it was the case today as well. A person who is estranged from God and faith is one of the main challenges and problems of the modern world. There is a very harmful ideology spreading throughout Georgia, and this ideology is precisely what separates people from God and faith. Of course, we must all oppose this, and to do this, we need to protect faith, protect traditional values, and each one of us must be engaged in this. Overall, the modern world faces serious challenges. These challenges are related to specific political and ideological directions, and we all must fight against them," Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
