Salome Zurabishvili: "My personal fight continues and will go on until the end because I am the president of this country," said the fifth president of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, during a briefing.
As Zurabishvili noted, she will go to Zugdidi tomorrow, and after returning from the United States, she will visit various regions of Georgia.
Zurabishvili explained that she has a very large responsibility to lead the country to safety.
"The fight continues, and its main component is the people who stand in the streets, to whom I join as much as I can. These are people not only in Tbilisi but also outside of it. I also want to inform you that tomorrow I will be in Zugdidi, where I will be with the people who need support. After I return from the United States, I will continue visiting other regions because the protest of every Georgian citizen is not only in Tbilisi. The great novelty here is that it has spread throughout the country. We must stand by our citizens everywhere they are, this is my goal. I will stay connected with everyone. My personal fight continues and will go on until the end because I am the president of this country. I have a very large responsibility to lead this country with you to the safety of democracy, freedom, and its course, which can never be achieved without it," said Zurabishvili.
