Government Administration: At the meeting with PACE Monitoring Committee members, Irakli Kobakhidze drew attention to the opposition's attempts to sabotage the state system

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with members of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

According to the Government Administration, the meeting focused on the fruitful cooperation between Georgia and the Council of Europe, the October 26 parliamentary elections and the ongoing processes in the country.

“The Prime Minister spoke in detail to the delegation about all the issues of interest to them, including the political situation created after the parliamentary elections and the steps taken by state agencies to manage the process.

The head of government also drew attention to the opposition’s attempts to sabotage the state system and noted that the state is fully mobilized and any attempt to deliberately weaken the country’s most important institutions will be met with an appropriate response,” reads the press release.
