Irakli Kobakhidze: Sanctions have been used as a tool of blackmail against the country - this blackmail will not have any effect under any circumstances

Sanctions have been used as a tool of blackmail against the country. The only interest was to drag a country into the war, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Zestaponi.

According to the Prime Minister, this blackmail will not have any effect under any circumstances.

"This issue is of little interest to us. Sanctions have been used as a tool of blackmail against the country. The only interest was to drag the country into the war, however, in no case will we allow to take a step that would have involved the destruction of the country. Accordingly, this blackmail will not have any effect under any circumstances," the Prime Minister said.
