Zurab Japaridze, a member of the "Coalition for Change," Zurab Chiaberashvili, a member of the "United National Movement," Salome Samadashvili, a member of the "Coalition for a Strong Georgia," and Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of "Strategy Aghmashenebeli," met with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Zurab Japaridze shared this on social media.

According to him, they met with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to discuss the case of Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of "Batumelebi" and "Netgazeti."

"We specifically met to talk about Mzia Amaglobeli. He was interested in the details. He promised to do everything within his power today," writes Zurab Japaridze.

For your information, the Batumi City Court imposed pretrial detention on Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of "Batumelebi" and "Netgazeti," as a preventive measure. The decision was made by Judge Nino Sakhelashvili. Mzia Amaglobeli slapped the head of the Batumi police, Irakli Dgebuadze, in the face. Amaglobeli was charged under Article 353¹ of the Criminal Code, which involves attacking a police officer. Since her arrest, Mzia Amaglobeli has been on a hunger strike, which today marks its 18th day.
