During the meeting with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the topic of discussion was Mzia Amaglobeli's case. According to him, during the meeting, they also discussed other detained individuals and the political situation in the country.

"During the meeting with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the topic of discussion was Mzia Amaglobeli's case. The number one priority, the urgent task of days and hours, is for her to be released, and the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe understood this very well and promised that he would personally intervene in resolving this issue.

We also discussed the political situation in Georgia and other political prisoners, unfortunately, we have many at the moment. Journalists, actors, students, doctors – this difficult situation has affected every profession and group," said Giorgi Vashadze.

For the record, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe was met by Zurab Japaridze from the "Coalition for Change," Zurab Chiiaberashvili from the "United National Movement," Salome Samadashvili from the "Strong Georgia" coalition, and Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of "Strategy Builder." According to them, the topic discussed during the meeting was the case of Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of "Batumelebi" and "Netgazeti," a journalist who has been on a hunger strike for the 18th day in protest.
