Tina Bokuchava : Ivanishvili's Russian regime is posing as the government and, in the 13th year, is still talking about justifying our political force - this is another Russian propaganda attempt to cover up its own crimes with a circus performance

The chairwoman of "United National Movement," Tina Bokuchava, calls the announced investigative commission to examine the actions of the previous government a circus performance and says that with this, Bidzina Ivanishvili is trying to cover up his crimes.

As Bokuchava told journalists, the Georgian Dream party cannot cover up the fact of its illegitimacy with this "spectacle" and will have to accept the surrender of power.

"For the 13th year, after the hijacking of the elections and the special operation conducted on October 26, Ivanishvili's Russian regime is posing as the government of Georgia, and for the 13th year, it is still talking about justifying the political force that has not been in power for 13 years and which I proudly represent. This, of course, is yet another Russian propaganda attempt by Ivanishvili to cover up his crimes with this spectacle and another circus performance, which he plans to stage in the now-illegitimate, de facto parliament. He is trying to cover up the fact that the civilized world does not recognize him as the legitimate government, that the economy is collapsing due to sanctions, and that he has lost legitimacy both abroad and within the country. With this circus performance and spectacle, he cannot cover up the fact of his illegitimacy, and he will have to accept the surrender of power, as the country must hold new, fair elections, get out of this chaos, and not look into the past, living in propagandist lies, but instead look forward to Europe, to prosperity, to success, and for the government to work for the people's interests and not be occupied with staging circus performances," Bokuchava said.
