Teona Akubardia: The opposition will not stop, no matter what Soviet methods are used against the people – this once again shows the regime's fear, which is very close to collapsing

The opposition will not stop, no matter what Soviet methods are used against the people, said Teona Akubardia, one of the leaders of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party, in response to the announced protest action and the statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to her, this once again demonstrates the regime's fear, which is very close to collapsing.

"The regime is so frightened by the continuous opposition of the people that now they are naming the streets of Tbilisi as highways, even though the highway is completely different and is a strategic object. They are breaking into people's homes because of a Facebook post aimed at gathering people for the protest. There was no mention of blocking in that post. Therefore, this again shows the regime's fear, which is very close to collapsing. This once again shows the Bolshevik methods they are using to intimidate their own people, which was very clearly visible yesterday. This again shows that they will inevitably end because the opposition will not stop, no matter what Soviet methods they use against the people," Akubardia said.

She also mentioned that yesterday, a certain citizen saw "the frightened face of the regime" in those citizens who are fighting loudly against the regime to protect democracy and a European future.

"This illegality, arrests, and use of force have become familiar to Ivanishvili's regime. This shows only one thing – fear, weakness, and the regime's closeness to collapse," Akubardia stated.
