The outside world does not fully realize how one person is turning his one-party system into an imitation of Putin's Russia, – Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, wrote on X.­

"The outside world does not fully realize how one man is taking his one party system into a copycat of Putin’sRussia. Today the Party decided on a new set of repressive measures, increasing fines, jail sentences prohibiting protest actions even in private spaces!" wrote Salome Zurabishvili.
