Protests continue on Rustaveli Avenue: the road is blocked

Protests continue on Rustaveli Avenue. Despite the police cordon set up at the location, citizens blocked the road.

The protesters have brought black balloons as a symbolic gesture in connection with the birthday of the honorary chairman of the "Georgian Dream," Bidzina Ivanishvili.

As the citizens state, the protest must continue, and constant pressure from "partners" is important.

"We will not stop, regardless of Bidzina Ivanishvili's wishes. Big protests are ahead," the protesters say.

Citizens have been taking to the streets every day for 83 days in protest. Their main demand is the scheduling of new elections and the release of those detained during the protests.
