Tina Bokuchava, the Chair of the "United National Movement," is attending the preparatory session for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's annual session in Vienna.
According to Tina Bokuchava, special debates will take place at the assembly due to the deep political crisis Georgia is in, which resulted from "Ivanishvili's actions, including the hijacking of elections and subsequent repressions."
"Today and tomorrow, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's preparatory session will be held in Vienna for the annual session scheduled for June. Special debates on Georgia will take place during the session, stemming from the deep political crisis in which Ivanishvili has led the country due to the hijacked elections and subsequent repressions. The agenda will include demands that unite the international community and the Georgian people, which are the conduct of new, free, and fair parliamentary elections, the release of all political prisoners, and holding the perpetrators accountable. It is important that the American delegation is also participating in this format, and we plan to hold bilateral meetings with them to discuss the United States' sanctioning policy against Ivanishvili's regime," said Tina Bokuchava, whose comments were shared by her party's press service.
