Salome Samadashvili: Georgia is actually becoming a country where, in terms of democratic values, the most difficult situation has been created for our partners

Georgia is actually becoming a country where, in terms of democratic values, the most difficult situation has been created for our partners, - Salome Samadashvili, a member of Strong Georgia, said when speaking about the preparatory meeting for the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

According to Samadashvili, the OSCE debates will continue by initiating the relevant procedures in relation to Georgia.

“The fact that even within the framework of the OSCE, where countries are represented, including those that face serious challenges in terms of democracy, such heated debates have been held regarding Georgia, shows that Georgia is actually becoming a country where, in terms of democratic values, the most difficult situation has been created for our partners.

I expect that these debates will continue by initiating the relevant procedure. The preparation of a report on Georgia will be entrusted to the relevant body within this organization, and I do not exclude that, based on this report, representatives of the current illegitimate government of Georgia will no longer be invited to the relevant formats in the future. We have seen that the mood is leaning towards this, that is, cooperation cannot continue in the usual mode under the conditions of an illegitimate government," said Salome Samadashvili.
