Salome Zurabishvili: We will we give in to the Russian regime, they will not be able to subjugate us

Despite the war, occupation, kidnappings, and various economic pressures, we did not give in to Russia, we did not give up our European path, our independence, or our freedom, and we will not surrender to the internal Russian regime, - the fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, stated in her speech at the rally on Rustaveli Avenue.

According to Zurabishvili, despite violence, the society is standing on Rustaveli so that another February 25 does not happen again.

“Today, the society that has been standing here for 90 days does not give up, does not adapt to the violence that is being inflicted on them daily. They tried everything - water cannons, bullets, violence, insults, fines, more violence and more insults, but people are still standing… Mzia Amaglobeli is standing, Temur Katamadze is standing, everyone who is a prisoner today is standing. They stand and will stand, while we stand here. This is an example after February 25 that the country is still standing and will stand because we will not give in and will not allow the Russian regime to impose Russian occupation here again.

Despite the war, occupation, kidnappings, various economic pressures, we did not give in to Russia, we did not give up our European path, nor our independence, nor our freedom, and we will we give in to the Russian regime. They will not be able to subjugate us,"- said Salome Zurabishvili.
