Every major or minor crisis reveals that this government belongs in the dustbin of history, said politician Roman Gotsiridze while discussing the problems caused by heavy snowfall in western Georgia.

As he stated on PalitraNews' program "Resume," under such a government, "neither weather-related issues, nor democracy, nor economic problems can be resolved."

"Every major or minor crisis shows that this government is destined for the dustbin of history. Under such leadership, no problems can be solved—not weather disasters, not democracy, not the economy. This situation once again demonstrates what kind of government we are dealing with," Gotsiridze said.

According to him, a coordination headquarters to manage the disaster in western Georgia was established only after citizens took the initiative themselves.

"The government's capabilities in extreme situations are being exposed. Every time a crisis arises in the country, they suffer a catastrophic failure. Essentially, they are abandoning the people who fall victim to these disasters.

It has become clear that the government does not exist. Georgia is not Siberia; it is a small country—whether it's Guria or Imereti—where the government should be prepared for immediate response to such weather conditions. Yet nothing worked. They only created headquarters after citizens took matters into their own hands.

Street protests have shaped the country. People mobilized to save others. Only then did they decide to create some kind of headquarters. And now? They sit locked up, drinking coffee. What are the results of this so-called headquarters' work?" Gotsiridze said.
