Today we got acquainted with the situation in Adjara. During these days, intensive work was carried out, problems were most severe in Batumi, Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, however, as a result of intensive work, the roads have been significantly cleared - as we were told, electricity supply will be restored everywhere by tomorrow at the latest, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Batumi.

“You know that we are mainly focused on Guria, due to the fact that the most problems are in this region, however, today we got acquainted with the situation in Adjara. Intensive work was carried out during these days. As you know, the problems were most severe in Batumi, Kobuleti, and also in Khelvachauri, however, as a result of intensive work, the roads have been significantly cleared. As for the electricity supply, there are local cases, although, as we were told, electricity supply will be restored everywhere by tomorrow at the latest,” Kobakhidze said.

In addition, he answered a question about the statements of opposition representatives regarding heavy snowfall and noted that “we should pay less attention to these statements.”

“This is simply their nature and, it seems, their order. We should be focused on solving the problems and, of course, we should pay less attention to these statements,” Kobakhidze said.

In addition, the Prime Minister spoke about the situation in Guria and stated that approximately 20% of the population is not supplied with electricity today.

“More problems remain in Guria. Among them, road cleaning work must continue intensively. Electricity supply must be restored. Approximately 20% of the population is not supplied with electricity today. There is, of course, intensive work to be carried out here. We will now return to Guria and, of course, we will take as much interest as possible in the current situation and will have instructions on how to fully correct all issues," Kobakhidze noted.
