A special commission will study the damage caused to the population as a result of heavy snowfall, - the relevant decision was made by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.
As stated in the information released by the press service of the government administration, the commission will study the damage caused by the heavy snowfall in detail, after which appropriate decisions will be made.
"The state will restore houses damaged as a result of heavy snowfall, and citizens whose houses are beyond repair will be provided with alternative housing.
Repair of damaged roofs and infrastructure works will begin immediately and will be carried out in a short time," reads the information.
