The governments of the Baltic states cannot act independently. They are directly dependent on the instructions and tasks of the “deep state,” and these countries, unfortunately, have lost their sovereignty, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Uzbekistan.

According to the head of government, Georgia remains in a unilateral friendship regime with all three Baltic states.

“This specific decision has no serious explanation. This is the result of the fact that the governments of the Baltic states cannot act independently. They are directly dependent on the instructions and tasks of the “deep state”, and these countries, unfortunately, have lost their sovereignty. There is no other explanation for the fact that these countries, without any basis, are using excuses to artificially spoil relations with our country. They do not care about the historical friendship that has been established between Georgia and Estonia, Georgia and Lithuania, Georgia and Latvia. They are not interested in anything, including the interests of their own people, and are artificially spoiling relations with our country and the Georgian people. There is no rational explanation for this. In general, the situation that has developed in the Baltic governments is very unserious; if we look at specific personnel, it becomes clear that personnel policy is not being conducted seriously there. This is a very sad event, however, we will once again emphasize that we remain and will remain in a unilateral friendship regime with all three Baltic countries, "the Prime Minister said.
