Shalva Papuashvili: October will come, and we will see that everyone will participate in the local self-government elections scheduled by Mikheil Kavelashvili under the legislation adopted by Parliament

According to the Chairman of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, representatives of the opposition are entirely dependent on external instructions, which they receive like "puppets."

As Papuashvili told journalists, in the end, everyone will participate in the elections appointed by Mikheil Kavelashvili.

"The process is fully controlled from the outside. Even recently, you observed that several cities were visited, they received instructions, some of them arrived, and probably some are still there. I see their statements about how they want to undermine the economy of Georgia, how they want to organize terror, and so on. I mean Zurab Japaridze's statements regarding this. These are just ordinary instructions and their implementation. As for the elections, they are also fully dependent on instructions, like puppets. However, as I said recently, in the end, their political statements have little value. October will come, and we will all see that everyone will participate in the local self-government elections appointed by the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, under the legislation adopted by the Parliament of Georgia. They will participate in the Central Election Commission (CEC) formed by the Parliament of Georgia and in the elections appointed by Mikheil Kavelashvili," said Papuashvili.
