The ruling team plans to amend the rules related to the activities and powers of the temporary investigative commission of the Parliament.
In this direction, the parliamentary rules of procedures are being changed, which, in turn, is related to the investigative commission created to study the activities of the National Movement government.
According to the draft amendments, if there is a reasonable suspicion that a criminal act has been committed, the temporary investigative commission of the Parliament will be able to raise the issue of initiating an investigation before the relevant body, at any stage of activities.
In addition, the investigative commission will be authorized to instruct one of the commission members to obtain an explanation from a person who expresses a desire to provide the temporary investigative commission with important information.
With the same draft amendments, the commission will be able to hold a session on the days of plenary sessions of the Parliament, although not during the plenary session of the Parliament.
