"People want to see us united, and they want to see us united every day. Not once every 10 days, but as a strong and unified force," said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of "Strategy Aghmashenebeli", before the meeting between Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, and opposition parties.
According to Vashadze, the country is currently at a deadlock.
"The meeting is a good step. Today, the country is in a deep crisis. 'Georgian Dream' is isolated both domestically and internationally. I believe more needs to be done, especially within the country, to bring this process to victory in the short term. For me, this means nationwide unity, a unified headquarters, and a coordinated action plan.
People want to see us standing together, and they want to see it every day—not just once every 10 days. They want true unity. I was on Rustaveli Avenue yesterday and the day before, and when I speak with the public, this is exactly what everyone wants," Vashadze stated.
