Nika Gvaramia: Today, two steps have been taken towards dictatorship - do you know what is surprising? The fact that so many "this is no longer surprising" have accumulated and we are losing our homeland without surprise

Today, two steps have been taken towards dictatorship - do you know what is surprising? The fact that so many "this is no longer surprising" have accumulated and we are losing our homeland without surprise, in a completely expected manner, - the leader of the Coalition for Change, Nika Gvaramia, writes on social networks.

As Gvaramia notes, first people were fined an incredible amount, and now all the funds that helped the victims have been seized. In addition, Gvaramia also responds to the case of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, and notes that "there is nothing surprising anymore".

"Today, two steps have been taken towards dictatorship:

Misha Saakashvili was sentenced, then the previous sentences were added, then the sum was squared and finally they increased it to 12 and a half years. It is clear: we are talking about the most severe authoritarianism in the history of independent Georgia and the country's main political prisoner (they did not manage to arrest Zviadi in independent Georgia) and nothing is surprising anymore.

All the funds that helped the victims (Nanuka, Gilauri and others) have been seized. First, people were fined an incredible amount. Now those who pay these amounts, those who help illegal prisoners - they are also being fined. Nanuka Zhorzholiani may be held accountable for helping Guria, who knows. This will not be surprising either, not at all.

But do you know what is surprising? The fact that so many "this is no longer surprising" have accumulated and we are losing our homeland without surprise, in a completely expected manner. This is really surprising,"- writes Gvaramia.
