Georgia's fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, responded to the phone call between US and Russian presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, saying that Putin agreed to pause attacks on energy and infrastructure, but not on civilian targets, cities, and hospitals.

Yesterday, following a telephone conversation between the US and Russian presidents, the Kremlin released a statement, noting that during the phone conversation, Vladimir Putin responded positively to Donald Trump's initiative to pause strikes on energy facilities for 30 days and gave the Russian military the appropriate order.
