Irakli Kobakhidze hosts Nikol Pashinyan at government’s administration

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze hosted his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, who is visiting Tbilisi to attend the Georgian-Armenian football match.

According to the Georgian government’s press service, during the face-to-face meeting, the parties once again emphasized the strategic partnership between the two countries and the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral relations.

The special importance of cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats and the role of joint efforts in ensuring peace and stability in the region were noted.

Later, Irakli Kobakhidze wrote on X that both countries desire to promote the development of both sports and people-to-people relations.

"I am delighted to host the Prime Minister of Armenia, H.E. Nikol Pashinyan to Georgia. I am looking forward to attend together with my Armenian colleague the upcoming football match between our national teams demonstrating our countries' commitment to promote sports and people-to- people bonds between our nations," the Prime Minister noted.

Irakli Kobakhidze and Nikol Pashinyan will attend today's match between the national teams of Georgia and Armenia. The second leg of the UEFA Nations League play-off will be held at the Dinamo Arena.
