This is another political persecution by the illegitimate Georgian Dream, Ana Natsvlishvili, one of the leaders of Lelo – Strong Georgia, said in response to the summoning of Strong Georgia leaders Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze to the parliamentary temporary investigative commission session.
As she noted, the government is trying to persecute people who “can transform the country into a modern, European, successful state.”
“This is another political persecution by the illegitimate Georgian Dream of those people who, unlike the Georgian Dream, can do and have done a lot of things in this country, be it bringing in international investments, creating thousands of jobs, or implementing the reforms necessary for Georgia’s accession to the European Union. The Georgian Dream has not and could not fulfill any of the orders that the Georgian people had - neither the construction of Anaklia, nor Georgia's accession to the European Union, nor the creation of jobs, nor the establishment of a fair court, which was their promise. Now it is carrying out the only thing remained - this is the persecution of political opponents, those people who can turn this country into a modern, European, successful state," Natsvlishvili said.
For information, the temporary parliamentary investigative commission investigating the activities of the National Movement government has summoned the leaders of Strong Georgia - Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze.
The commission's agenda includes the discussion of one of the cases of pressure on business - the case of Magnati LLC.
In addition to the leaders of Strong Georgia, the owner of Magnati LLC and his lawyer Roin Migriauli are invited to today's session.
