Irakli Kupradze: On behalf of the Strong Georgia coalition, I address Bidzina Ivanishvili and say - the challenge has been accepted, this crime and one-party chaos that Ivanishvili and his regime have organized in the style of Putin will not remain unanswered in this country

The challenge has been accepted - this crime and one-party chaos that Ivanishvili and his regime have organized in the style of Putin will not remain unanswered in this country, - Irakli Kupradze, one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia coalition, stated at the briefing.

According to Kupradze, the big challenge now is to "be able to give the right answers to Ivanishvili's Russian regime."

"On behalf of the Strong Georgia coalition, I address Bidzina Ivanishvili and say - the challenge has been accepted. The coalition and its leaders Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze fully accepted this challenge when they boldly stated that they would not grant legitimacy to the illegitimate parliament of Georgia, a one-party gang created as a result of rigged elections and a stolen constitution, power, which does not actually represent an investigative commission. The fact is that Ivanishvili is currently afraid of his main opponent - a strong coalition called Strong Georgia and it consists of the people you see.

Our main goal is to hold new parliamentary elections in this country and to release political prisoners. No matter how many political prisoners are added to this list, we will not deviate from these two main demands. We will remain faithful to the main moral axis of Georgian citizens, which is justice, democracy and protection of the Constitution of Georgia. This in itself implies European integration and a European future. The big challenge for us now is to be able to give the right answers to Ivanishvili’s Russian regime. We have moved to a regime where each of our regional organizations is ready to engage more actively in the resistance. We have sent the first messages to our foreign partners. This crime and one-party chaos that Ivanishvili and his regime have organized in Putin’s style will not remain unanswered in this country. A united, strong Georgia stands before you today and we jointly serve the interests of the citizens of Georgia,” Irakli Kupradze said.

For information, the temporary parliamentary investigative commission investigating the activities of the National Movement government summoned the leaders of Strong Georgia - Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, however, neither of them came to the session. Opposition politicians wrote on social media that they do not intend to participate in the “circus”. The temporary investigative commission will appeal to the prosecutor’s office regarding the leader of Strong Georgia Mamuka Khazaradze. As the commission’s chairwoman Tea Tsulukiani stated, the reason is that Khazaradze did not appear at the commission’s session, where he was summoned. The commission will also discuss the issue of appealing to the prosecutor’s office regarding Badri Japaridze.
