Giorgi Vashadze: The regime is trying to cover up its failure with political persecution, repression, false accusations and absurd commissions

We will not participate in this farce! The one-party investigative commission of the Georgian Dream created by the regime in the self-proclaimed parliament has no legitimate or legal basis, - this is how the leader of the Strategy Builder, Giorgi Vashadze, responds to the temporary investigative commission of the parliament, which is studying the activities of the National Movement government.

“The illegitimate and completely isolated Ivanishvili regime is staging another farce by summoning us to the so-called investigative commission, which has three goals:

To use our forced summoning to the so-called investigative commission of the self-proclaimed parliament as an argument for the recognition and legitimacy of the parliament among the people;

To use our non-appearance to repress us and create false grounds for our criminal prosecution, for which we are certainly ready;

To divert the public’s attention from the crisis and real problems it has created.

Accordingly, we will not participate in this farce!

The one-party investigative commission of the Georgian Dream created by the regime in the self-proclaimed parliament has no legitimate or legal basis, because the parliament itself and Ivanishvili’s regime are announced illegitimate and illegal by the people and civilized countries.

Ivanishvili wants to talk about the events developed almost 20 years ago, when today, as a result of his own violence, hundreds of innocent citizens are being beaten and arrested on Rustaveli - people who are fighting only for the freedom of their country and for its European future.

The regime is isolated and sanctioned!

It is not recognized either inside or outside the country. Now it is trying to cover up its own failure with political persecution, repression, false accusations and absurd commissions.

We will not allow the regime to suppress protests and justice through terror and repression! Georgia will win! - declared Giorgi Vashadze.
