The fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, met with the v, Gitanas Nauseda, today, as part of her visit to Vilnius.
According to Salome Zurabishvili’s press service, the meeting highlighted the growing repressive policy of the Georgian Dream towards civil society, free and critical media and political entities.
“The meeting also touched upon the hybrid threats coming from Russia.
Salome Zurabishvili stressed the importance of new elections in the country, which are the demand of the population and the only peaceful way out of the political crisis.
The President of Georgia spoke with her Lithuanian counterpart about the importance of a unified EU policy towards Georgia,” reads the report.
