This was stated by one of the leaders of the "Federalists" party, Giga Bokeria, in response to the ongoing issues surrounding the temporary investigative commission into the activities of the "National Movement" government.

According to him, no one should participate in the investigative commission.

“It is an old tactic that, in the context of the widespread protests regarding our statehood, independence, our place in the free world, and the danger posed by Ivanishvili's regime, they want to shift the focus to the confrontation between the old and new governments, polarization, and labeling everyone under the same category. Once again, I want to take this opportunity to say that even his supporters are being mocked, though they haven't called me yet. For years, they’ve been talking about the Bokeria-Saakashvili regime and calling Khazaradze and Japaridze names, trying to label everyone under the same category, as I’ve already mentioned.

That’s why I expect them to call me, and then I will say the same thing that every responsible citizen or politician says: that no one should participate in this circus, in this illegitimate parliament, and whatever kind of repression they use, the only response will be mockery. And everyone will remember that the protest is about something much larger than even the illegitimate persecution of individual political figures,” Bokeria stated.
