Guram Macharashvili: We urge Zurabishvili to go to Latvia and find out how the country managed to enter the top five in Russian vodka sales - she should inquire, maybe they will even gift her 1-2 bottles of vodka

Guram Macharashvili – The only thing we should urge Zurabishvili to do is to go to Latvia and find out how Latvia managed to enter the top five in Russian vodka sales.

She should inquire, maybe they will even gift her 1-2 bottles of vodka, – this was stated by the deputy of the "People's Power" party, Guram Macharashvili, in response to the visit of Georgia's fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, to Latvia.

According to him, the Baltic and other countries have officially stated that they are "fighting to maintain peace in their own country at the expense of the war in another country."

"We should urge Zurabishvili to go to Latvia and find out how Latvia managed to get into the top five in Russian vodka sales. She should inquire, maybe they will even gift her 1-2 bottles of vodka. In international assessments, Latvia is in the top five globally in its relationship with Russia and trade, including buying Russian vodka, and yet, she tells us to impose sanctions on Russia and not only avoid trade but also engage in military conflict. This would be a major mission carried out by Zurabishvili. The Baltic countries officially declared that they are fighting to maintain peace in their own country at the expense of the war in another country," – Macharashvili stated.
